Our client is a global science-led biopharmaceutical company and they are currently looking for a new colleague to join their team in the position of:
Finance & AI Process Innovation Intern (m/f) Location: Zagreb
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support the Finance team in identifying repetitive and time-consuming processes that can be improved through AI-powered solutions
- Map and analyse existing workflows across Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain to identify automation opportunities
- Test, prototype and implement AI-driven process improvements using modern AI and automation tools
- Collect, prepare and structure data from internal systems to support AI initiatives and process optimization
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT and Digital teams to understand business needs and develop practical solutions
- Conduct research on AI best practices and recommend innovative approaches for process improvement
- Prepare documentation, user guides and training materials to support the adoption of new AI-enabled processes
- Measure and monitor the impact of implemented solutions through relevant KPIs such as time savings, error reduction and process efficiency
- Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, financial controls and data privacy requirements
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about AI and technology, enjoys exploring new tools and is motivated to drive process improvements through innovation:
- Final-year or graduate student preferably in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science or a recent graduate with relevant junior experience
- Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and its application in business process improvement
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to work
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Proactive mindset, curiosity and willingness to challenge existing ways of working
- Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders and support change initiatives
- Previous experience with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Python, UiPath) is considered an advantage
- Knowledge of SAP, Power BI or Tableau is considered an advantage
- Project management experience is a plus
