For the needs of our client, an experienced logistics operator, CAT Cargo Logistic, we are looking for a new team member for the position:
Regional Purchasing Specialist (m/f)
Location: Zagreb
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage all suppliers’ relationships
• Improve and develop suppliers’ portfolio
• Propose and set up a strategy for suppliers’ relationship, meeting CAT Group purchasing guidelines and targets in relation with Purchasing Department
• Positively challenge requirements for RFx and insure close and professional relationship with all purchasing stakeholders
• Take part of purchasing budget elaboration for all his purchasing families
• Issue and drive tenders and negotiate tariffs in line with given targets for suppliers of its portfolio
• Communicate accurately and on time to all involved departments updated tariffs and associated conditions contributing to cost control and reduction
• Update and communicate on a regular basis the dashboard including KPI’s of costs and tariffs drifts at least by quarter and tariffs & volumes
• Improve supplier’s contribution to CAT operational performance:
o Using standard KPI’s (suppliers’ performances: load achieved vs planned, lead time…)
o Building and following formal action plans
o Communicating formally with his suppliers
• Keep a sharp knowledge and understanding of the market to anticipate changes and identify risks and opportunities (suppliers monitoring)
