Job description
• Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement data pipelines for effective data integration from various sources into cloud platforms, focusing on automation of data movements and transformations.
• Big Data and Cloud Integration: Utilize big data or cloud-integration technologies to deploy new developments on cloud platforms like Azure. Implement business processes and logics in Databricks using Python/SQL/PySpark.
• Data Warehousing: Construct and test data warehouses, including staging and business layers, to support data integration projects with a technology focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Project Realization: Support the analysis, technical conception, design, solution selection, implementation, and quality assurance of data integration projects.
• Innovation and Improvement: Continuously assess and integrate new technologies, tools, and best practices to advance data integration capabilities and contribute to the knowledge base within the organization.
Employer's requirements
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Python, SQL, Spark and other data technologies. Experience with object-oriented Python for scalable big-data pipelines, ETL processes, web APIs, and microservices.
• Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure, nice to have AWS. Knowledge in cloud-integration technologies such as Azure Databricks is essential.
• Data Management: Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases, star schemas, data lakes, blob/file storage, and data warehouses. Familiarity with technical implementation of regulatory requirements including access control, historization, versioning, and data lineage in data solutions.
• DevOps Principles: Experience applying DevOps principles and tools, including automated testing, deployments, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD practices.
• Continuous Learning: Ability to evaluate new technologies, tools, and best practices in data integration to foster organizational growth and knowledge building.
• Languages: High level of written and spoken English (C1)
• Agile: You have experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
• Hands on mentality
• Several years of experience in the field of big data & cloud
