Job description:

As the Medical Engagement Lead, your primary focus will be on optimizing patient access and outcomes by providing up-to-date medical expertise in the assigned therapeutic area (hematology or immunology). You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address their needs, shape the local and global therapeutic area strategy, and ensure the best interests of patients are met.

• Develop and execute local Medical Affairs strategic plans aligned with the franchise and medical strategies.
• Engage with key scientific leaders and healthcare system partners to co-design strategies and studies.
• Co-develop integrated evidence plans in partnership with global teams and external stakeholders.
• Provide medical expertise on pipeline programs, disease areas, and approved brands.
• Publish manuscripts, deliver scientific presentations, and represent the company in external scientific programs and congresses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective patient outcomes and access.
• Comply with medical and pharmaceutical industry procedures, national laws, and regulations.
• Support training activities and collaborate with regulatory affairs and compliance teams.
• Utilize insights to contribute to patient journey mapping, launch excellence, and medical strategies.
• Engage with stakeholders through various channels, providing the right evidence at the right time.
• Manage personal and professional development and fulfill administrative responsibilities.

Employer's requirements

Requirements for this position: • Master's degree / University degree in pharmacy, medicine, or biosciences. • At least 3 years of experience in the same or similar jobs is desirable. • Basic understanding of relevant clinical research (candidates with a background of working with rheumatologists or hematologists have an advantage). • Fluent in oral and written English and local language. • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and strong clinical and research background. • Familiarity with good clinical practice (GCP) and the healthcare system. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. • Strong business acumen and critical thinking. • Proficiency in leveraging technology for stakeholder management and insight gathering. • Demonstrated integrity and adherence to ethical standards. • Basic knowledge of MS Office.
