For our client, Uber, we are looking for an: Operations Coordinator Location: Zagreb, Croatia About the Role The Operations Coordinator role is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on Uber’s operations in Croatia through development and operationalizing strategic initiatives mainly focusing on growing Uber’s business on the coast. You will interact with various external partners and closely work with a wide range of internal functions such as Operations, Policy, Community Operations and Legal. This role calls for creative problem-solving, analytics, strategic thinking, strong execution and interpersonal ability. A person in this role is comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment, loves solving problems and is able to thrive in a startup culture. What You’ll Do • Be a hustling multi-tasker, supporting Local Operations manager on a variety of tasks. These include also special operations, city launches (growing supply, partner insights), monitoring competitive environment & more. • Roll-out impactful actions to acquire and engage drivers & riders, via cross-functional projects involving the Support teams (physical and virtual support). Those actions can include (but are not limited to) the training of agents to execute campaigns or writing calling scripts to address driver specific needs. • Collect, analyze and report performance data. • Run experiments to validate the thesis and measure the impact with data. Consolidate results into action plans. These include tracking the performance of fleet partners, enhancing service quality of individual fleet partners, analyzing cost effectiveness of our operations. • You will deep dive into the experience of fleet partners and plan, develop and execute projects to bring out best practices. What You’ll Need • Minimum 2 year relevant experience in a fast-growing environment with experience relating to most of the following: operations, analytics, vendor management, and project management. • Solid analytical ability.
