• Lead and supervise the accounting team across multiple locations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output
• Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Provide financial analysis to support business decisions
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal policies and Group requirements
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and timely resolution of audit findings
• Monitor and ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial reporting requirements
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and improve financial processes.
Employer's requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification a plus
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP), financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
• Experience working in a multi-location or international environment is an advantage
• Prior experience in the construction or industrial sectors will be considered an asset.
